With most of our portfolio holdings strongly rising since the beginning of the year, we are not buying any dips this week:

Instead, we are doing some capital recycling to maximize future upside potential.

In late November 2025, Brookfield (BAM) made an offer to buyout our Australian self-storage REIT, National Storage REIT (NSR / NTSGF), at a 27% premium to what it was trading at the time.

This led to immediate upside, but we decided not to sell right away, thinking the spread between the share price and the offer price was too steep at the time, and another offer from a competitor was also possible.

However, since then, National Storage REIT has effectively accepted Brookfield’s offer, and the share price has moved much closer to the offer price.

Therefore, we are today selling our position, pocketing a nice profit in the process.

(Note that the transaction is not yet completed due to the time difference, but it will when the market opens in Australia.)
